Quite surprising how ancient aboriginal Taiwanese had moved that far across the ocean to New Guinea, an island in the south, without landing on the mainland! Where were they from? Why are there any trace of their originator left even in mainland China? Did the Chinese population wipe them out in the past? Hence, no one left till now. Maybe the current population size is so small that it is just a sample size issue that makes this population un-traceable!
